Job Description

The Internal Account Executive for new homes is a new role for 2018, providing a critical service to our new homes division. The role in part entails complete ownership and responsibility for a number of our 1 and 2 development developers, ensuring their presence on our websites is the best it can be in all respects, and proactively communicating with them by phone to recommend and upsell additional products and services to achieve set revenue targets.

Secondly, proactively contact prospect developers and make appointments by phone for the field based Account Management team to visit and sell our services. This requires determination, resilience and tenacity to ensure the required number of quality appointments are made. It is the responsibility of the internal AE to keep the Salesforce database cleansed and up to date.

The role requires a great deal of flexibility. We will ask at times as dictated by business needs for the successful candidate to work on special projects which will be varied in nature (and can be administrative or revenue generating).

Develop long term business relationships to deliver regular and effective account management and increase revenues through a multi product portfolio.

Other duties include responding to inbound customer calls and queries, minimising cancellations and maintaining accurate and up to date records through Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise revenue opportunities with existing customers ensuring all available developments are listed and there is uptake of additional products
  • Work with customers that have signaled intent to cancel their subscription in order to reverse their decision and keep the customer`s business
  • Maintain accurate records, sales forecast and activity reports and online customer data records with all relevant information (Salesforce)
  • Ensure accuracy of contracts signed
  • Communicate effectively with internal & external customers and follow up customer queries within 24 hours. Provide outstanding customer service
  • Proactively assist customers that are low on engagement and ensure their listings are high quality and they get the most from the Zoopla subscription
  • Tele-prospect to deliver a target number of quality appointments for the field team
  • Ensure the prospect database is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Ensure the timely resolution of and response to complaints, escalating as appropriate
  • Manage customer expectations and review accounts identified with potential problems and proactively contact them to discuss and resolve any issues.
  • Take an active involvement with sales, technical and finance team members to enable process improvements and reduce churn
  • Build strong relationships with the sales team
  • Complete strategic projects/ tasks to support the team as and when the need arises

Skills and Attributes:

  • Have experience in, exposure to or an understanding of the UK Property and online advertising industries including Google, Facebook and email formats

  • The successful candidate will be familiar with all Microsoft packages including Word and Excel to intermediate level and SFDC.
