Job Description


This is a challenging, results orientated role, requiring pro-active, outbound telephone calling and follow-up written communications to mainly current customers in order to present company products and services and generate sales revenue. It is vital that all internal and external customers are addressed in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner. All enquiries should be dealt with as soon as possible and records must be kept up to date.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Contact current clients from a defined account list to increase spend within these

Deal with some inbound leads and either look to convert these to sales or transfer to Field Account Manager

Identify customer needs and present relevant products and services

Develop and maintain detailed understanding of business products / services and client`s proposition and markets

Meet sales revenue targets and activity KPIs

Support the Field Account Managers as required, including passing on potential leads and checking that the necessary contact is then made by them and any requested action taken

Ensure all calls are logged accurately, including contact details, follow up dates or other action required

Communicate with all relevant internal staff (eg marketing, accounts, client services, design studio)

Manage requests for documentation including samples, estimates and invoices

Develop and maintain understanding of operational processes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

2-3 years outbound B2B sales experience

Target and results driven

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Customer focused

Ability to persuade and influence in order to meet sales targets

Ability to overcome objections

Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills

Excellent PC and numeracy skills

Strong organisational ability

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desirable:

Worked within and dealt with Estate Agents

Knowledge of Print Business and manufacturing

Experience in consultative selling across a range or products
