Summary of Role:

This role is a `strategic sales` role in the field, focussing on both selling into large accounts, developing framework agreements to ensure growth of existing clients and being the BDM within the field responsible for bringing new clients on board.

Thus, this is a hydrid role that requires the individual to operate at a strategic level with corporates/groups of accounts, working with them to understand their needs and help build their business plans for their marketing and print requirements alongside sourcing and working new business leads to promote and demonstrate the range products/services to win new accounts.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Accountable for growing revenue with accounts in the territory
  • Generating and winning new business within the sales team
  • Working with clients to help them develop their own businesses and marketing plans in conjunction with Ravensworth products and services
  • Achievement of both new business and existing business sales targets
  • Work closely with other areas of ZPG to develop sales strategies for common customers and referrals in the territory
  • To act as an effective, professional ambassador for the Company at all external events, conferences, regular delivery of large group presentations
  • To attend internal/external training sessions as and when appropriate to increase skill set
  • To maintain effective communication links with other teams & departments across the business and communicate effectively with internal & external customers
  • To undertake special projects and tasks as and when required

Skills and Attributes:

  • Achievement of Sales Targets and KPIs in previous roles
  • Have proven track record in negotiating, presenting and growing revenues to key account clients
  • Proven success in creating New Business leads and winning new clients
  • Experienced in successful negotiating with large client groups and large group presentations
  • Have professional & polished presentation skills
  • Ideally have experience in, exposure to or an understanding of the Estate Agency business model and/or Print Manufacturing
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and control group situations with confidence and ease and actively participate and contribute to meetings
  • Have exceptional customer service skills and an understanding of outstanding customer experience
  • Time management and planning skills that allow you to manage your own time effectively and to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Strategic & operational planning experience
  • Ability to be flexible and comfortable in a fast-moving results-orientated environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive - with the ability to work on own initiative and offer new ideas
  • Desire to be part of and contribute to the success of a fast-growing organisation
  • Personal commitment to improving one`s own knowledge and sharing best practice with colleagues
