Job Description

This role ensures the smooth running of the HR operations, providing a great experience for colleagues and also supporting the work of the HRBPs ensuring they have the data and time to support their business areas. Team, process and project management are key requirements for the role along with excellent attention to detail and a commercial approach backed up with strong HR knowledge. This role also needs a good understanding of HR systems and reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and coordinate plans for projects in the HR team ensuring all the `behind the scenes` work is seamless to enable the HRBPs to deliver a great experience and service to their business areas, e.g. restructures, acquisitions. Ensure all the supporting letters, administration and system updates are actioned.
  • Manage the Company`s annual salary and bonus review process working with each HRBP for their respective areas whilst ensuring that the frameworks are consistent across the whole of ZPG.
  • Maintain Company policies and procedures that are legally compliant and in line with the Company culture and values.
  • Ensure the team deliver accurate and efficient provision of HR services across the employee lifecycle, including, new joiners, general employee administration and termination of employment ensuring a seamless and consistent, end to end employee journey.
  • Ensure the team accurately, efficiently and effectively manage the payroll input for each of the companies within the group and deputise for the Chief Talent Officer, where needed, to sign off the monthly payrolls.
  • Manage the annual renewal process for risk benefits and healthcare to ensure the best rates for the business and a good service for employees.
  • Manage all pensions administration and governance ensuring changes are communicated as appropriate and onward processed to payroll, pension provider and confirmed to colleagues.
  • Manage the current benefit providers to ensure the best deal for the business and employees, including research into new benefits working closely with the Head of Employee Engagement.
  • Regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) on HR KPIs, including the annual Gender Pay Reporting.
  • Managing the HR Operations team to ensure a consistent, efficient, flexible and excellent service is provided to colleagues and also the wider HR team (in particular the HRBPs).
  • Carry out salary benchmarking as required by the Business Partner team to ensure salaries are aligned with current market rates.
  • Annual renewal and input of data into benchmarking system.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislation, including ongoing improvements to processes to ensure GDPR compliance.

Desired skills

  • Experience of managing HR operations and administration.
  • Experience of benefits management and payroll.
  • Good understanding of employment law, in particular relating to payroll, pensions and benefits.
  • Proven ability to create reports and analyse data to inform decision making.
  • Experience of managing the end of year salary review and bonus process.
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience in supporting acquisitions.
  • Experience in the creation and implementation of project plans relating to restructures, consultations and redundancies.
