Job Description


This role is necessary in order to help drive all commercial aspects of the Ravensworth business forward in line with its strategy and key initiatives to deliver significant profitable growth, including assisting in setting and reporting on sales targets, developing commercial / value propositions that are attractive to customers and create shareholder value for ZPG, managing pricing strategy and price lists, managing product margins and product profitability, product portfolio management (including rationalisation), KPI management, sales offers / discount control, and evaluation and creation of new income streams for Ravensworth built on sound business cases (which would also be developed by this role)

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

- Accountable for all new product innovation / product development ideas, execution and goto-market

- Accountable for all product pricing and value propositions, ensuring profitability for Ravensworth whilst remaining competitive

- Development of business cases to support new product introductions or commercial propositions - Contract management and commercials within contracts with key clients

- Maintenance of price lists - Market research, market analysis and competitor analysis

- Creation of new income streams to fuel profitable growth of the Ravensworth business

- To work with other appropriate areas within ZPG to exploit sales opportunities, being the commercial point of contact to assist with cross-sell campaigns, referrals, offers and incentives

- To report on business KPIs, data management & overall performance trends

- To be the point of contact and have overall management of the Sales Insight Tool

- To act as an effective, professional ambassador for the Company at all external events, conferences, regular deliver of large group presentations

- To attend internal/external training sessions as and when appropriate to increase skill set

- To maintain effective communication links with other teams & departments across the business and communicate effectively with internal & external customers - To undertake special projects and tasks as and when required

Skills and Attributes:

- Strong commercial acumen most likely has been in a similar role previously

- Ability to manage and present data in a way which is simple and effective, based on facts and sound arguments

- Have professional & polished presentation skills

- Have experience in, exposure to or an understanding of the UK Property and online advertising industries

- Inter-personal skills to enable working with credibility with people at all levels including Clevel

- Ability to facilitate meetings and control group situations with confidence and ease, with ability to actively participate and contribute to meetings

- Have exceptional customer service skills and an understanding of outstanding customer experience

- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint & Word, with a particular skill for manipulating and presenting data in Excel - Time management and planning skills that allow you to manage your own time effectively and to meet deadlines and objectives

- Strategic & operational planning experience

- A problem-solver who offers solutions to challenges

- Ability to be flexible and comfortable in a fast-moving results-orientated environment; being self-motivated and proactive - with the ability to work on own initiative and offer new ideas

- Desire to be part of and contribute to the success of a fast-growing organisation
