Job Description

ZPG are seeking a 2nd Line IT Support candidate to join our 5-person strong support team. You will be exposed to a fantastic range of technologies as you support both our inhouse staff face to face and remote teams over the phone. To succeed in this role you will already have some experience of supporting Windows and Google Apps and you will be a natural communicator able to put user at ease keeping them well informed all the way through the support process.

You will work as part of the support team who are themselves part of the bigger business IT team giving you direct access to 4 highly experienced system administrators, so you can be confident that you will always have the help and advice you need to grow and deliver the support level you need for end users.

As a 2nd Line Support Engineer you will be called on as a more experienced and knowledgeable member of the support team to resolve more complex issues. You will be working closely with the 1st line engineers and the system administrators to support a variety of systems, as well as be involved in project work. In turn you will be rewarded by fast growth in your career, you will learn a lot from the rest of the team and can expect our investment in your training.

Essential Skills:

- A solid understanding of Windows 10

- Prior work experience supporting Google Apps

- Prior work experience creating and managing user groups in Active Directory

- Good Knowledge of PC hardware break fix

- Several years of experience managing support request through an IT helpdesk platform (We use FreshService)

- Take on escalated tickets to resolution and supporting 1st line members when required

- Can juggle multiple requests/projects/tickets

Desirable Skills:

- Previous work experience supporting Apple laptops

- Experience of managing computers with Intune

- AV Support for meeting rooms

- Mobile phone account management
