Central Functions

Job Description

Summary of Role:

To scope, create and deliver sales and service training to support the commercial sales channels in their development and execution of a multi service and multi product portfolio with the highest quality of customer care.

The role is varied and includes:

  • Management and delivery of the commercial induction training (including CRM; SFDC)
  • Project management and material creation in the `Go To Market` product launch process
  • Administration of a UK based LMS system
  • Creation and delivery of soft skill-based courses for new business and account management
  • Performance coaching of new and existing sales staff

Essential Skill Requirements:

  • Classroom lead training including induction/onboarding of new sales & service staff
  • Creation of training materials across product, industry, process knowledge and soft sills that includes the use of PowerPoint, Trainers Guides and supporting learner handouts
  • Understanding and experience in performance coaching both to telephony staff (internal to office) & field-based staff (client facing)
  • CRM background
  • Background in new business sales and account management

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of LMS systems
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform
  • A background in online sales & advertising media

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong presentation, written & oral communication skills
  • Minimum intermediate IT skills in Excel, PowerPoint & Word; familiar with CRM systems including SalesForce
  • Inter-personal skills to enable working with people at all levels. Must be credible and comfortable dealing with and presenting to large groups of people
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and control group situations with confidence and ease, with ability to actively participate and contribute to meetings
  • Time management & planning skills that allow you to manage your own time effectively and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to be adaptable & flexible in a fast-moving results-orientated environment
  • Be self-motivated and proactive - with the ability to work on your own initiative and offer new ideas
  • Desire to be part of and contribute to the success of a fast-growing organisation with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Personal commitment to improving one`s own knowledge and sharing best practice with colleagues
  • Flexibility for overnight stays / travel when required / Full driving licence (desirable)
  • Willingness to roll sleeves up and help with tasks outside of remit
