Job Description

Everything a User Researcher at uSwitch will do increases our research team`s ability to manage and meet an increasing demand for insight so that we build the best understanding of our users. You will be part of the Product Development Research team reporting to the Head of Product for Affiliates. Primarily, you will work in a supporting role to our various product teams along with our on-going research programme. Secondly, you will own and undertake various research management tasks independently (manage user panel lists, manage Customer Services feedback etc).

You`re responsible for ...

Working closely with Product Teams to understand and support their research needs. To deliver timely and actionable insight and recommendations that will inform designs from concept through to implementation, for a variety of projects and on-going incremental tests and improvements.

  • User lab testing support, logistics and facilitation, inc. moderation and observation
  • Cataloguing and maintenance of the research library
  • Management of various tools in the research toolkit
  • Management of customer insights
  • Video analysis
  • Various support tasks

Essential skills ...

  • Ability to learn and employ a variety of research methodologies including focus groups, usability testing, user journey analysis and mapping, multivariate testing, Google Analytics, video analysis and competitive research
  • A collaborative working style, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well in small group settings as well as independently
  • Experience with working in lean product teams
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
