Job Description

We are looking for an experienced & innovative Marketing/Brand Manager to join the Marketing team of the most well-known brand in the property industry. You`ll own and deliver Zoopla`s ATL brand activity across multiple media whilst aligning to business goals. You`ll gauge your success against brand fame, sentiment, positioning, website traffic and lead generation. This is a great opportunity to work for a brand that is reshaping the property and home management space. Please note this is a 12 month position to begin early April 2018.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the day to day relationship with both the creative and media agencies.
  • Be accountable for creating and managing a rolling 12-month advertising plan aligned with product innovation and key brand messages. Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team to amplify campaigns.
  • Represent the brand and consumer when working with dev-focused product innovation teams to evolve our service proposition.
  • Work with the Director of Brand on evolving the current creative execution.
  • Be the "brand guardian", ensuring all communications produced internally and externally meet brand guidelines for Zoopla (and Prime Location).
  • Produce a `monthly marketing update` for the commercial team.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of offline communications using internal available metrics and an offline brand tracker, report monthly on performance.
  • Report monthly on consumer-focused competitive activity (product and marketing changes), report monthly on significant changes.
  • Manage and update where relevant Brand Budget with regular contact with the finance team to ensure as accurate as possible.
  • Support the Director of Brand to develop and manage the ATL marketing activities across the ZPG group.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong commercial experience in a brand marketing, communications or advertising role. Preferably from a client-side background.
  • Experience with all the marketing levers (online and offline) with particular experience in ATL creative development and media planning. TV campaign experience is essential.
  • Demonstrable expertise in growing an established digital brand from defining the brand proposition through to the creative execution
  • Experience with managing significant budgets and agencies - from creative briefing through creative review to production and media planning.
  • Rigorous skills in analysing activity and making recommendations for corrective actions and improvement
  • Experience working in a pure digital business
  • Bachelor`s degree required
  • High level verbal and written communication skills, with the tact and assertiveness necessary to work within a demanding environment and with the resilience to get the job done
  • Excellent project management skills and fully IT literate
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with staff and suppliers at all levels
  • An ability to deal with multiple projects on an on-going basis and meet deadlines and efficient organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm and a pro-active work ethic with the personality to enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Willingness to work on their own initiative within a busy team and under pressure of tight deadlines
