TechnicWeb is the UK`s leading estate agency websitedesign and hosting businessspecialising in designing and operating fully-responsive websites for the property sector. Based in Braintree, Essex, we are a friendly collaborative team who joined the Zoopla Property Group of companies in 2016.

We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join our support team who work on both internal and external (client side) support issues. This is a critical role to our business where the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting to maintain and look after our clients` website and services, whilst also helping to ensure internal IT support issues are kept to a minimum. This role offers a great stepping stone into the IT world without the pre-requisite of extensive prior technical experience in the field.

The successful applicant will be a friendly problem solver with strong organizational skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service to both clients and work colleagues.

Key responsibilities (Internal)

  • To prioritize client and internal support issues as the arise
  • Installing and upgrading employee`s machines, whilst maintaining equipment`s functionality.
  • Setting up new employee`s equipment and software accounts as directed by departmental line managers
  • Managing the internal phone system
  • Maintaining the exchange and database (G-Suite)
  • Providing support to the Projects team including, investigating and reporting back as necessary.
  • Researching of potential office equipment.
  • Liaise with IT support in Head Office regarding equipment, support, networking and licensing

Key responsibilities (External)

  • Dealing with client enquires via phone and e-mail.
  • Creating of support ticket system.
  • Pre-staging of client websites before content is added.
  • Taking client websites live.
  • Dealing with low level HTML, CSS and database issues for clients
  • Support other internal teams, (Primarily teams located on the same "Pod"), with telephone cover when need.

Key Skills:

  • Must be highly IT Literate, with low level programming skills desirable
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and occasionally manage a high volume workload
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Degree, Qualification, or A level education in IT highly beneficial
  • Passion for IT sector and desire to progress in that field
