Job Description

This role will support the ZPG marketing team with data and analysis to enable more efficient brand and performance marketing as well as providing key insights into audiences for future marketing planning and to support trade initiatives. Primarily working on Zoopla and Prime Location but you will also do some work on uSwitch.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing analysis and insights:

  • Support the whole marketing team and provide reports, analysis and insights where needed, channels include ATL, PPC, CRM, App, SEO, Social, Content and Trade.
  • Create and maintain dashboards using visualization tools such as DataStudio and PowerBI to demonstrate ZPG performance to key stakeholders.
  • Own all marketing intelligence tools such as Hitwise, ComScore, Nielsen, GA around audience growth, engagement & performance, deliver competitor analysis and market research.
  • Help to define systems to track key audiences across marketing intelligence tools and internal Consumer CRM systems.
  • Combine GA data with 3rd party socio-demographic data from tools like BlueKai to create rich audience segments that represent the core target audiences for our business.
  • Gather supporting data for marketing campaigns where needed (eg data for Trade, PR and Finance
  • Business owner and Administrator for GA 360:
  • Define the optimal set-up for GA and deliver solutions across the business, this will include campaign tagging, traffic tracking, goal setting, funnel reports etc.
  • Help to create reporting dashboards around campaign or content performance & ROI
  • Devise attribution models and work with channel managers to test and improve models.
  • Train areas of the team to be able to gain insights into key audiences themselves, within the boundaries of data governance.
  • Ensure ZPG are getting the most out of all available GA 360 tools & services.
  • Work with our GA agency to ensure optimal internal set-up of GAP supports our marketing activities.

Brand Tracking:

  • In charge of company`s brand tracking campaigns
  • Work with our tracking agency on questionnaire design and results tracking.
  • Provide insights and recommendations from the market research results.
  • Support brand planning through analysis of the characteristics of our existing user base.

Product:

  • Bridge Marketing and Product on performance tracking, provide marketing insights such as user behaviour and demographic to Product where apply, vice versa.
  • Stakeholder in key product projects where needed, oversee tag/tracking implementation

Skills required:

Essential:

  • Must have strong administration experience in Google Analytics
  • Good understanding of different marketing channels and how they work together.
  • Good commercial experience in analysis of online businesses, predominantly client-side but some agency analysis experience would be acceptable.
  • Advanced Excel skills including full familiarity with statistical functions & ability to extract, mine and manipulate large data sets.
  • Experience in writing tagging brief and implementing tracking pixels.
  • Experience of Google BigQuery and a DMP such as BlueKai.
  • Educated to degree level with an upper 2nd class degree in Maths, Science, Engineering, Computer science.
  • Collaborative and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Diligent self-starter and confident when explaining and presenting findings to members of the team.

Desirable:

  • Expert in cross-device tracking and mobile tracking (native-app, hybrid app, mobile site, responsive site).
  • Experience multi-brands and multi-platform tracking.
  • Experience in TV Econometric modelling and multi-attribution models.
