Role Summary:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Commercial Operation team to support our existing brands and new brands joining the group. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Programmes you will be joining our Commercial Operations team as a Business Analyst to deliver new Salesforce integration/migrations, data mapping, define and build new features, define and improve business processes to unlock the business potential of our Salesforce application.

Working closely with the Product Owner and Head of Programmes you will elicit and interpret requirements to form detailed product backlog items. Being a key member of the team, you will be particularly prominent during backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions, ensuring feature requirements are clearly analysed and communicated.

Furthermore, the role will entail working with other product teams that integrate with our API, both inside and outside of ZPG. Communications with the sales, operations and marketing teams will also form an essential part of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis: Understanding and evaluating the effectiveness of commercial business processes and recommending changes or improvements which positively impact productivity across allcommercial channels. As an acquisitive business, BA`s will be required to fully document the end to end commercial processes of acquired businesses to document and recommend integration strategy. Work with our Product Owner to elicit requirements.

  • Impact Assessment: Provides clear and quantifiable gap analysis to allow effective prioritisation of initiatives and recommendations based on measurable performance outcomes aligned to the attainment of business goals.

  • Change Management & Innovation: Develops and influences new approaches. Establish procedures, plans and practices which promote the adoption of appropriate solutions and sustainability of desired results in complex operational environments. Develops strategies to enhance decision making.

  • Results & Accountability: Ensures that effective controls are developed and maintained across the organisation. Strong commitment towards goals and outcomes and to ensure completion within established time frames. Drives, supports and facilitates initiatives, ranging from simple to complex; focuses on results and measuring attainment of outcomes.

  • Skills required:


  • Strong communicator & facilitator - gaining stakeholder input, orchestrating workshops & virtual meetings.

  • Problem Solving - driving the resolution of processes and stakeholder challenges.

  • Critical Thinking - considering and probing until the real needs are surfaced and understood.

  • Business Process Analysis - quantitative & qualitative assessment, use case, process modelling & impact analysis. Decompose high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

  • Visual Modelling - the ability to create visual models, such as work-flow diagrams or wireframe prototypes.

  • Project Management - proactively collaborates with the delivery team, dependency-aware.

  • Advanced knowledge of analysis tools.

  • 2-5 yrs experience with Salesforce.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Think through functionality thoroughly and methodically.

  • Planning: Coordinates Quality Assurance & execution plans, baseline metrics, setting and monitoring goals.

  • Collaboration: Working with other departments to understand `current state`, improvements, processes, systems, constraints and developing transparent user cases by working with senior stakeholders..

  • Communication: Actively participate in weekly meetings to define the team`s action plan and review progress against goals. Hold team members accountable for progress on key program actions.
