Job Description

Summary of Role

Working within the Zoopla Product team, your role will be to champion our customers (primarily estate agents and property developers), driving through product initiatives on the commercial roadmap to increase customer engagement, grow market share, improve conversion rates and increase revenue.


  • Manage the on going programme of small feature enhancements and bug fixes, liaising with key commercial stakeholders on priorities
  • Helping to analyse, document, prioritise and schedule bugs and enhancements
  • Gather customer insights (via focus groups, interviews, usability in context, and segmentation studies), conduct detailed product analysis, and a wider, competitive analysis in order to provide input into the commercial product development roadmap
  • Work with the rest of the Product team (Product managers, UX architects, designers, and optimisation managers) to ensure business objectives are met through the technical implementation of the commercial products and services.
  • Provide support to the sales and marketing activities around the roll-out and adoption of commercial products and services
  • Working with the wider team to define projects, compile specs and manage communication to ensure stakeholders are well informed about the teams projects.
  • Carrying out qualitative analysis including usability studies, user testing and market research
  • Performing quantitative analysis including defining and analysing key metrics, A/B testing and multivariate testing. Measuring what works!
  • Communicating with users via surveys, helpdesk and other user research

Skills required:

  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Excellent prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with a broad customer base, ideally having conducted customer insight feedback sessions/focus groups
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience in working in collaboration with a product team or in a product environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced digital environment, ideally within the Property sector, Classifieds, Directories or equivalent
  • Experience working in Jira or an alternative tracking product
