Job Description

Zoopla are looking for a professional digital marketer to manage PPC & programmatic display to our consumer audience. You will also provide BlueKai integration and audience targeting, web analytics analysis and GA attribution support to the team here as well as managing 2 PPC individuals. The objective of the role is to ensure annual budget is spent efficiently to achieve business KPIs.

Key responsibilities

Paid Search & Display

  • Plan and manage the paid marketing budget to achieve business KPIs
  • Track and optimise activity to increase ROI from existing activity and introduce new forms of activity into the mix.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives of each team
  • Devise, implement and run innovative campaigns across campaigns in line budgets
  • Test BlueKai audience to maximise business KPIs
  • Allocate budget effectively between campaign to achieve business KPIs

Analytics

  • Work with the data team to achieve the digital tracking roadmap for ad tracking, 3rd party tags and analytical data capture
  • Audit and analyse complex existing ad tracking and analytics set ups and advise on improvements and changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and work with tech teams to implement solutions
  • Consult and advise on options available for ad tracking and analytics data collection
  • Drive regular communication with stakeholders to ensure awareness of tracking solutions
  • Staying current on the latest developments in data, ad tracking, and web analytics
  • Perform deep-dive analysis and statistical tests to get to the bottom of performance
  • Create dashboards to monitor performance and visualize insights
  • Analysing online user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution

Attribution

  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns
  • Use GA model comparison tool and other attribution features to understand effect of different attribution models e.g. time decay, data driven to maximise the performance of campaigns

BlueKai

  • Experience in managing a DMP Oracle BlueKai preferred but training can be given so experience on any similar product / DMP would also be of interest
  • Leverage data to inform broader marketing and media activities
  • Superior knowledge & strategic application of marketing capabilities such as DMPs, DSPs, and other campaign tools

Key skills and experience

  • Bachelor`s degree preferably in mathematics, science or IT
  • Strong commercial experience of PPC management
  • Highly numerate with great business acumen
  • Extensive knowledge of paid search methodologies and techniques for managing search campaigns on Bing/Yahoo and Google
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, preferably Google Analytics Premium and experience of custom dimensions, preferably Google Analytics IQ qualified
  • Self-starter with a positive outlook
  • Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
  • Passionate about biddable media, with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new platforms and channels

Nice to have skills and experience

  • SQL skills preferred
  • Google AdWords accredited
  • SEO knowledge
  • Some experience of holistic testing
  • Experienced in managing large budgets
  • A mixture of client side and agency side experience
  • Using app SDKs such as GA, Firebase, AppsFlyer
